Glossary¶
Explore mode¶
A discovery-oriented chat mode used to identify which regulations, standards, or documents are relevant to a given scenario.
Interpret mode¶
A document-anchored chat mode where answers are grounded in a single selected document and version (from the Library or User Documents).
Project¶
A structured workspace that defines scope by linking documents, stores project instructions, and supports persistent, multi-document compliance work.
Project Context mode¶
A chat mode used inside a Project where answers can reference all documents linked to the project, following project-specific instructions.
Thread¶
A chat conversation in CORA. Threads can exist globally (Explore or Interpret) or inside a Project (Project Context).
Citation¶
A reference attached to a response that points to the supporting source text, such as an article, clause, section, or annex.
Sub-tab¶
A secondary tab opened when following an external citation to another document, allowing navigation without losing the original context.
Grounding (Evidence)¶
A view that shows the exact source passages CORA relied on to generate an answer, enabling verification against original text.
Article Focus¶
A scope control that limits the active context to a specific article, chapter, or section within a document to improve precision.
User Document¶
A document uploaded by the user (for example, internal specifications or reports) that can be viewed, cited, and interpreted alongside library documents.
